Time Off

I'm taking time off this week with weights. I feel great. I did do some LISS walking Monday and Tuesday. I still enjoy that, just something to keep me moving and get outside with my son and my puppy. I walk with my twin sister so it makes an hour fly by. I'll probably do it again tonight, we'll see how the humidity is, right now it sucks and makes me just want to hide in my A/C house.

I don't have a whole lot more to report on this week. I am going to start recording my Measurement/Weigh ins every Friday morning. I've been keeping track on paper for 12 weeks so this is a nice place to keep it recorded from now on.

Back and Bi's

I'm 2 days late with this workout, my apologies, punctuality has never been my strong point. Fridays is my Back and Bi's day.

Bent Over Row-1x10x60, 1x8x60, 1x6x60
1-Arm Row-2x15x20
Deadlift-3x10x60,
Bicep Cursl-1x8x20, 2x6x20
Concentration Curls-1x8x15, 2x6x15
Wrist Curls-3x10x10

Stretches and 5 min cool down on an inclined treadmill.

Legs Glutes and Abs

Thurdays are Legs, Glutes and Abs day. This was what I did

BB Front Squat 2x10x40
Plie Squat 2x10x20
1-Legged Lunge-bodyweight
Leg Extentions 2x10x50
Hamstring Curls 2x10x25
Hip Thrusts with 25 lb on abs
Crunches 2x 15

Stretching and cool down for 5 min at 3.5 km/h on an incline

My glutes are mad at me today (friday morning), but I love it when they scream at me!

Chest and Tri's

Tuesday is Chest and Tri's day

Pushups (non girlie) 3x8
Bench Press 1x12x40 lbs on the bar, 2x10x40, 1x8x40
Incline Press 4x10x20 lb DBs
Dips 1x8 (had to quite these prematurely, something going on with my right wrist)
Lying Tri Extentions 3x10x10 lb DBs

I did no cardio today, I was feeling really weak. I was not too happy with the workout today, my wrist is giving me so much trouble, I also had a hard time with the pushups but I worked through it. I think I've been spending too much time on the computer, I know that's what it is. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome...damn, that sucks.

Shoulders Traps and Abs

Monday is Shoulders Traps and Abs day. I did a dumbell routine, no barbells for this one.

Shoulder Press 4x10x20lbs each DB
Upright Row 4x10x20lbs each DB
Lateral Raise 3x10x10lbs each DB (still so weak on these)
Front DB Shrug 3x12x20lbs each DB
Side DB Shrug 3x12x40lbs each DB
Crunches 3x15
Lying Leg Raises 3x10

I ended with 15 min of MIIT on an incline and a good stretch. I still feel so weak on most moves, I seem to plateau for awhile on weight progression...BUT...I shouldn't be too hard on myself, it wasn't too long ago that I was only doing 5 lb DB for these exercises! Must keep the negative thoughts out...bad thoughts out, good thoughts in.

Welcome to my first post

Hi and welcome to my first post about my journey to buffness. So far it's been quite the challenge, but I'm up for it. I'm just getting used to using Blogger so this first post is really more of a test than anything else. I plan to use my bffm blog to document my quest to burn fat and feed muscle...aka...BFFM. I hope to also inspire others who read this.
